What are the benefits of living in a townhouse? A townhouse can be more spacious than a condo and more affordable than a house and lot! Interior designer Jean Suzanne Sy made this four-storey townhouse in San Juan even more special by using modern furniture with vintage details. She paired these contemporary-meets-classic pieces with antique-style decor.

Here are the 6 things that we liked best in this family home:

Living Area

We love the use of soothing light colors in the living area! Soft hues can relax homeowners and make the a small space seem bigger than it really is.

Since white, beige, and taupe pieces can look plain and boring, you can spruce up the space with faux plants, birdcage decor, and vintage-style boxes.

Dining Area

Located next to the living area is the dining area. The space is furnished with a glass-top dining table and mismatched dining chairs. The dining setup is illuminated with black pendant lamps

Kitchen

The overhead cabinets have different sizes and styles so that they can be used in different ways. The top cabinets can be used for ingredients that are seldom used. The open shelves are filled with cookbooks and everyday essentials.

Home Office

If you are living in a two-storey or a three-storey home, you can turn a stair landing into a home office! In this particular space, the interior designer put up white shelves and a magnetic board. The homeowner can hide clutter in charming woven baskets.

Master Bedroom

Looking for the perfect color scheme for your own master bedroom? Consider the shades used in this particular space! You can use light gray, mint green, Tiffany blue, and baby pink.

Walk-In Closet

We like this walk-in closet because it reminds us that you don't need a lot of space for all your stuff! Cabinets and shelves on both walls can make a big difference. You can also hire someone to build a movable cabinet that can be used for your favorite belongings
