We all need a clean bathroom where we can get ready for work or school. It's essential that it's kept organized too so we can relax and enjoy a rejuvenating bath.

To help you create a clean area, here are 6 easy must-dos to follow and keep in mind:

1

Work on the medicine cabinet. Remove the contents and discard expired medicines. Wipe the insides of the cabinet and organize your essentials inside. You can arrange your items per use and by height.

2

Clean the shower area as it is prone to soap scum, mold, and dirt. Use a mild dishwashing soap solution and a damp cloth to clean the area and shower curtain. You can also liven up the space by changing your shower curtain using a piece that you crafted on your own.

3

Keep your counter clean and free from clutter so you can prepare for work without any problems. Wipe the counter using a mild cleaner then rise it thoroughly using warm water. If you are leaving essentials on the counter, use a tray or a couple of catchalls to keep these in place.

If you have wall-mounted shelves or a small cabinet in the bathroom, it's important that your storage solutions are organized. Don't just leave your supplies there, organize your items so you can get what you need easily. Aside from shelves and cabinets, you can also put your extra towels, toilet paper, and the like inside clear plastic containers.

5

Keep your bathroom smelling clean and fresh using natural fragrances. Aside from using potpourri, opt for relaxing scents like eucalyptus or chamomile. Eucalyptus is a great essential oil that clears the head and calms emotions, while chamomile relaxes and relieves anxiety, tension, and insomnia.

While you may opt for a minimalist bathroom, you can also accessorize it with a few decor pieces. Add fresh flowers in vases or succulents in cute planters to liven up the space. You can also use wall accents or hang framed prints to liven up a plain wall.
