6 Decorating Ideas from a 63sqm Condo in Taguig
Working on your space? Check out these tips inspired by magazine editor Maggie Adan's home
Magazine editor Maggie Adan browsed through design books, magazines, and websites to find different ideas for her quirky and whimsical condo. With her collected pegs and the help of an expert design professional, she was able to have a unique bachelorette pad that truly stands out.
If you loved Maggie's eclectic space as much as we did, you would be glad to know that there are many ways to have a similar feel in your own home. Create a charming and colorful escape with these decorating ideas.
If you're tired of the expected colors like white or beige, you can try pastel shades for your walls! For a soothing feel, choose light blue, yellow or pink.
No room for a home office? No problem! You can also turn an awkward nook like the space under your stairs into a work and study area.
Instead of buying a regular dining table, look for one with drawers that can store dinnerware, utensils, and other dining essentials.
Fun idea: use chalkboard paint to turn an ordinary door (and other flat surfaces!) into a spot for writing reminders, making grocery lists, and more. Chalkboard paint is available at leading hardware stores.
You can also be more creative when it comes to storing your pots and pans. For her kitchen, Maggie uses an aluminum pegboard panel from a hardware store. She had it spray-painted lime green to match the color of her walls.
In the bedroom, an entire wall was covered with white and lime green wallpaper. Maggie paired this with floral-print curtains in similar shades of green. Follow her lead by experimenting with different patterns for a more playful feel. Just remember to stick to one color palette for a cohesive look.
