It has been a week since Valentine's day has passed and by now the bouquet of flowers you've received may have started to look a little sad. As much as you'd want to preserve the beauty of these blooms for a few more days, chances are, they will continue to wilt. No need to worry, you can still keep them by turning them into something else. Make your bouquet last a lifetime with these ideas:

Frame them and use it as wall art.

If you’ve had a special date or an unforgettable experience with your beau and you want be reminded of it everyday, consider taking a few stems and turning it into framed wall art. This tip is a win-win situation, too—you get to have new décor and a charming souvenir!

Make potpourri.

Everyone knows dried flowers make for great aromatherapy. All you need to do is spritz the dried flowers with your favorite essential oil (preferably something that complements floral scents such as mint or citrus), pour it all in a decorative bowl and place it anywhere in the home that needs freshening up.

Run a rose milk bath.

Whether you work a 9-to-6pm desk job or run your own business, you deserve a luxurious and decadent soak once in a while. A rose milk bath will not only leave your skin soft and hydrated, the smell of roses can lull you to a relaxed state, too.

Press them.

This is probably the easiest and most doable tip from this list! Simply leave buds, petals or leaves in between the pages of a thick book and take them out whenever you need decorations for DIY bookmarks, greeting cards or invitations—the possiblities are endless!

Make an entrance wreath.

Give your guests a warm welcome with an accent piece that will remind them of spring. You can buy a base at your local crafts store and get creative—wrap the ring with roses, tulips, sunflowers or a medley of all three blooms to make a wreath.
