Towel rods are very useful in the home, especially in the bathroom as it holds our robes and towels until we need to dry off after a shower. However, did you know that you can extend its use out of the T&B? From coralling crafting materials to keeping the entryway neat, there's so much this bar of metal can do. To help you make the most of these multitasking wonders, here are some ideas you can try:

We think you'd all agree when we say that tangled extension cords, gadget cables and chargers are eyesores. Keep tech clutter at bay by putting up a charging station at the end of your kitchen bar. This way, your phone is within reach but it doesn't get in the way of your breakfast spread.

No more room for spare pots and pans in your kitchen cupboards? Extend your storage by hanging them up with the help of a towel rod. Make sure to set it up near your cooking range to save you time from getting what you need while prepping meals.

Put things back in order in your foyer (also known as the command center of the home) by installing towel rods and hooks where kids can hang up their school essentials. Aside from teaching them the importance of tidying, you can save yourself the trouble of picking up backpacks and jackets off of the floor after school.

If you enjoy making crafts, you can keep your essentials from taking over your home by hanging them up behind a closet door. You can even attach makeshift bins for items you can't hang like pens, scissors, stickers and the like.

If growing a vertical garden is more to your liking, you can also take the opportunity to organize your tools. Keep one rod free for big items like hoses while smaller shovels and rakes can share a different bar.
