Are you ready to move into your newly renovated space or room? Before you settle down, make sure that you have checked all the nitty-gritty first. Let the list below guide you:

Lights

Are all the light switches working without flickering? Are the lights properly aligned? Lighting is essential in every home that is why it's important that before you move in, high-quality light bulbs have already been installed. Go for LED lights, as they cost less and are eco-friendly, too!

Electrical outlets

Make sure that all sockets are working. It's best that you bring an electrician to help you inspect as well as to avoid problems in the circuit breaker.

Tiles

Check for hollow tiles by tapping on them either with the heel of your shoe or with a solid material such as a wooden rod or any similar material. You also need to make sure that the grout is properly sealed.

Cabinets

Check if your shelves are neatly installed and be on the lookout for sagging drawers. Double check the cabinet handles, gaps, and see if everything is proportionate. Make sure that the knobs and handles aren't loose as well.

Windows and doors

Do windows and doors open and close easily? Make sure that you can open and close each without any problems. You also need to check if the doors can be locked properly to ensure privacy and security.
