Whether you live in a tiny home or you're renting an apartment with a couple of roommates, the struggle of styling around huge beds is familiar to every homeowner. The easiest solution? Raise your cot to create extra floor space! To help you out, we've rounded up some of the best loft beds we've found from our featured homes. Check them out below:

If you're working with a tight space, your loft bed will most likely be the focal point of the room. To make the most of it, consider adding a sofa bed underneath—guests can use it for sleepovers—and hanging shelves where you can display photos or your favorite reads.

On the other hand, if you're lucky enough to have a sprawling space, make it work to your advantage by building a tiny home within a home. Take inspiration from this bedroom, designed by Anla Li-Tan, which is complete with a mini living area, a kitchenette with a breakfast nook, and a cozy sleeping space in a single loft.

For those who don't want to settle with classic partitions, feel free to go with something out of the box. Designer Jeng Buluag created a masterpiece in this home by adding a large aquarium headboard to the space. The lofted bed gives the homeowner a grand view of the city skyline, too.

If your home has high ceilings, utilize the extra space by turning it into a loft—especially if you're styling a shared bedroom for kids. Instead of a study area, transform the underside of the lofted bed into a second "room" for the other sibling.

RL Tip: Add a fun touch to the space with a creative piece like a bed made to resemble a car. Find similar pieces at any SM Department Store branch.

Do you already own an existing bunk bed? Consider deconstructing it to create more space for storage or a work area. In this home, the standard double deck in the boys' bedroom was taken apart to create a play area for them.
