As the cold weather dies and summer approaches, more and more people have started to go out and embrace al fresco dining again. While that is all, good fun, have you ever considered taking it to the next level by inviting your friends to rooftop bars for a night of drinking and enjoying the cool breeze? From buzzy hotel hotspots to neighborhood joints, we've listed down some of the best sky lounges in the city. Check them out below:

Mireio Bar at Raffles Makati

Found high above the city, Raffles Makati presents Mirèio, a Provencal-inspired brasserie that lets locals experience the rich traditions of the French countryside without leaving the borders of Manila. If you're looking for a great post-Valentine's date spot that combines beautiful views and delicious food, Mirèio is your best bet.

Mireio Bar at Raffles Makati is located at 9/F Raffles 1, Raffles Drive, Makati Avenue, Makati City. You can call them at 795-0707.

VU’s Sky Lounge at Marco Polo Ortigas

Located at the 45th floor of the famous hotel in Ortigas, VU's takes pride in being one of the very first sky bars in the city. Regulars keep coming back for the savory Mediterranean tapas, one-of-a-kind al fresco dining, and the relaxing vibe of the place that you can't find anywhere else.

VU’s Sky Lounge at Marco Polo Ortigas is located at Meralco Avenue, San Antonio, Pasig City. You can call them at 720-7777.

Buddha Bar in Makati

Buddha Bar is located at PICAR Place, Kalayaan Avenue, Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City. You can call them at 856-6859.

The Penthouse 8747

Adorned with intricate details inspired by the 1920s, there's no denying that The Penthouse 8747 is a chic lounge that is reminiscent of The Great Gatsby era. If you enjoy watching sunsets and city lights, this rooftop resto is a must-visit as it is overlooking the Ayala Triangle Gardens with an amazing view of the Makati skyline and the Central Business District.
