5 No-Fail Bathroom Storage Hacks
There's one for every bathroom size!
To keep any space clutter-free, storage is important. And in the bathroom where space is small and potential causes of clutter are many, there should be enough storage spaces. Here are some clever tips to help you:
1. Create niches that will serve as shelves.
This bathroom boasts an abundance of those. As a result, all towels are folded neatly, while baskets on the shelves house various toiletries that would’ve cluttered the bathroom if not for these storage solutions.
2. Go for mirrored cabinets.
This is what interior designer Kristine Neri-Magturo did in this condo unit. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone—the cabinets serve as storage while the mirrors visually enlarge the small space.
3. Install towel bars and shower caddies.
If you can’t carve out niches or if your bathroom is too tight to add shelves, mount towel bars, hooks, and shower caddies on the wall instead, like what interior designer Katharine Manuel did here.
4. Consider a basin-type sink.
This may keep a compact bathroom from looking cramped because it allows for addition countertop space. Put a cabinet underneath for additional storage.
5. Put hand towels and other bathroom essentials on a tray.
Don’t let these clutter your bathroom counter—corral them on a tray for a neater look.
