In today's age of social media where people continuously take photos to add to their Instagram feed, it's safe to say that restaurants and coffee shops have become more than a go-to place for good food. While the grub remains to be the star of the show, beautiful interiors can do a lot for a cafe as it sets the tone and ambiance of the space—much like what it does for our homes.

Creating an amazing space from scratch can be tough but it is possible with a few tricks and the right pegs. Before hitting the store for new home finds, make sure to take down notes from these stunning spots:

Toby’s Estate

Founded by Toby Smith, Toby’s Estate takes pride in sourcing beans from an extensive list of farmers from around the globe—making each cup of coffee they serve a unique one. In terms of design, Toby’s sticks to a rustic-industrial style with hints of color. To achieve a similar look, try experimenting with wooden elements, metallic finishes, and potted plants.

Toby's Estate is located at Ruby Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. You can call them at 507-6175.

Subspace Coffee

Subspace Coffee isn't new to anyone—in fact, it has been around for a few years as well as dubbed as the "home for K-Pop fans" by regular customers. This coffee hub is bursting with bright colors, customized pieces and an eclectic touch that reflect the culture of Seoul, Korea. Get the look by going for mismatched furniture and pops of neon in your space.

Subspace Coffee is Unit 103, G/F Grand Emerald Tower, F. Ortigas Jr. Road corner Garnet Road Ortigas Center, Pasig Ciy.

Makansutra

The famous Singaporean Hawker Market by K.F Seetoh is finally in the Philippines! Makansutra is exactly what the name says (In Malay, Makan means to eat and Sutra means thread in Sanskrit)—it's a string of kiosks that serve good food. It's a great peg if you're thinking about working with recycled materials—old steel, reclaimed wood and repurposed furniture are your best bets.

Makansutra is located at Unit 209 AB, 2/F Building A, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

Cafe Flafe

The first of its kind in Ortigas, Cafe Flafe is a Korean cafe and a flower shop in one. They specialize in bingsu, a Korean ice-based dessert somewhat similar to halo-halo. This quaint cafe is the perfect design peg if you're into the shabby chic style. To achieve something similar, try incorporating a lot of fresh blooms and hints of pink into your space to cop the look flawlessly.

Flafe Flower and Cafe is located at Unit 118, Grand Emerald Tower, Garnet Road, San Antonio, Pasig City. You can call them at 0917-717-0042.

The Lost Bread

The Lost Bread, which started out as a food park vendor, has finally opened its second stand-alone branch in Megamall. The decor of this popular hangout is the exact opposite of their over-the-top milkshakes and desserts—the space is sleek, simple, and with tropical accents that will never fail to remind you of summer. Get a similar feel in your home by editing your accessories and sticking to a more minimalist-inspired aesthetic

The Lost Bread is located at 4/F Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
