5 Ideas to Steal from an Entrepreneur's Townhouse in Pasig

Would you display colorful banderitas and a world map on your wall?

The first thing that we noticed about homeowners Wesley and Leona Lavina-Panutat's townhouse in Pasig is the sheer amount of colors and patterns. We think that these vibrant shades and interesting prints make this twice-renovated family home stand out.

Aside from bravely using colors and patterns, here are 5 other things that we can learn from this dwelling in the city:

Invest in a gray sofa

Since the homeowners have two sons, they tried to stick to furniture items that would not easily show signs of stains. For example, they replaced their old sofa with this gray seat. They also chose accent pieces upholstered with dark blue fabric.

Display art pieces

If your dining area looks bare, you may want to adorn one of your walls with paintings by Filipino artists like Migs Villanueva, Dominic Rubio, Francis Nacion, and Roel Obemio.

RL Tip: You can also frame your kids' drawings and paintings! This is a way to encourage creativity and personalize a plain space.

Place a leaf in a bottle

If you don't want to take care of small house plants like cacti and succulents, you may simply want to place a leaf in a bottle. This budget-friendly touch can easily breathe new life into any home.

Order custom-made furniture

We also liked this customized daybed with built-in drawers! The daybed is perfect for kids to play on or sleep on and it can also be used to store different things.

Put up interesting details

On the opposite side of the daybed is a wall covered with colorful buntings, framed animal prints, and a charming world map.
