5 Must-Haves for a Fab Foyer

The moment your guests arrive, what's the first thing that they will see? Create a lasting impression by making sure that your entryway is organized and inviting. After all, it's a prelude to what they will see inside!

If you're thinking of revamping your foyer, make sure you have these essential pieces:

Console Table

Set up a captivating vignette on a console table. This will help set the tone of your space and give guests an idea of what to expect. Start with a few tabletop decor or a vase filled with fresh flowers! Aside from pretty things, you shouldn't forget function. Turn it into a storage piece by adding catchalls where you can leave loose change and other small items.

Make use of the space under the table by adding baskets where you and your guests can leave shoes and other belongings.

Shelf

If you're not too keen on adding baskets under the table, you may opt for a slim shelf instead! You can use it to store shoes, magazines, and other things. In the absence of a console table, you can set up your vignette on top of the shelf. 

Tray

Your entryway will look messy if keys or trinkets are scattered on your console table. Use trays to keep catchalls in place. No need to buy a new piece for this purpose as you can reuse what you already have in the kitchen! You can just paint it or update it using washi tape

Stool

You need a spot where you and your kids can sit so you can slip on your shoes. You can just add an ottoman or stool in one corner so that it won't block the entrance. 

Décor

The foyer will not be complete without accent pieces. Don’t be afraid to decorate your space with your favorite things! hang your favorite prints and display your family photos! Complete the look with two or three small potted succulents.
