"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas." How many times have you heard this iconic phrase of a popular song? We're sure that at one point in your life, you've dreamed of playing in the snow and creating your own snowman! We may not experience winter in the country, but you can have your own version of a white Christmas at home. The trick? Choosing the right pieces and working on decorating ideas that can turn your space into your own winter wonderland. Here are five photos to inspire you:

For your centerpiece in the dining area, place white candles, spraypainted pine cones, and silver and white Christmas balls in a silver bowl. Spruce up the candle by wrapping silver ribbons around it.

You may also create an extra setup that you can put in the living area.

Create a cohesive look by choosing a white Christmas tree this year. Trees come in different colors and shades nowadays–make sure you visit department stores and furniture stores for options.

Display white stockings and decor pieces for a uniformed look. You can also choose neutral shades for soft furnishings like pillows and throws.

We're used to seeing colorful gifts under the tree during the holidays! Keep things simple and within the theme by choosing minimalist wrappers–in white and silver. Pair it with glittered or metallic ribbons.

Give guests an idea of what to expect inside your house. Create a lovely vignette in the foyer by having a mini white Christmas tree adorned with silver and gold balls.

You may also fill a tray and a clear glass container with bigger gold and silver balls. Add a refreshing touch by filling a vase with Baby's Breath.

RL Tip: You don't have to buy a new mini tree to accomplish this setup! Gather twigs and branches from your garden, clean them, and paint them in white. This will give your vignette a rustic touch, too!

If you don't have a space for a Christmas tree at home, you may opt for mini alternatives! No need to fret if small white trees aren't available. Work with the classic green piece and put it in a white woven basket. Complete the look by adorning the tree with white ribbons, balls, and silver embellishments.
