We've probably said it a hundred times, but the trick to making the most of a small home depends on how you plan the layout of your space.
If you've recently moved into your new unit or if you're planning to purchase a small apartment, here are handy hints that may just help you ease into the space quickly and efficiently.
Instead of putting the TV on a console table, you may choose to mount it on a swivel so you can use it in two different areas. For example, you can watch TV in the bedroom or you can schedule a movie marathon with friends while staying in the living area.

If having two or three cabinets is not an option, you can be resourceful by turning nooks and crannies into unexpected storage spots. Consider adding a shelf in an awkward corner or you may also add hidden cabinets within the staircase.
