3 Must-Try Gift-Wrapping Ideas
Wrap your gifts—minus the fancy paper with the help of these alternatives
Aside from taking the time out to plan the gifts that we will give to our friends this year, we also make it a point to present them in a unique and charming way. Gone are the days when we would simply place gifts inside paper bags or gift boxes!
From intricate folds to lovely paper, gifts serve as accent pieces under the tree. But aside from using paper products, there are a lot of ways to wrap your presents. Alternatives may cost less, yet still make an impression. Time to upcycle and get a little crafty with these ideas:

Reusable cloth bags
Were you able to keep the chic reusable bags from your gifts last year? Do you also have the habit of keeping small cloth bags from your shopping trips? Bring them out and use these for your medium to large sized gifts. Pick those with fun colors like blue, gree, or red. Before placing the items inside the bags, make sure that you wrap each with newspaper or bubble wrap first to avoid damages.
Cookie jars and tin cans can be thoroughly cleaned and used for different gifts. Big cans can be used for pieces of clothing while small ones can be used when giving away accessories and other trinkets. Jars would come in handy if you're giving away homemade cookies and other sweets.
Using items that you already have at home is always a great way to cut down on costs. If you have extra fabric scraps in your sewing kit or drawers, you may use these to wrap your gifts, too! Complete the look with a silver, gold, or red ribbon. You can attach the personalized gift tag to the ribbon as well.
