As center table

Large ottoman seats are ideal center tables for living rooms in lieu of wooden coffee tables. They are softer on the eyes and if you're hosting a large party, it can serve as extra seating. Consider stacking a couple of books on top of it and make sure it is sturdy enough to hold drinks.

As dining seat

Need extra seats in the dining area? Use ottomans instead of bulky chairs! Opt for a piece with a fabric or upholstery that works well with your dining set. Go for neutral colors that can fit in the space.

As benches

Admittedly, it’s hard to look for bed benches locally, so you can use an ottoman instead. Place a long x-legged ottoman at the foot of the bed then finish the look by placing a throw.

As night table

If you don't have an extra space for a night table in your room, you may opt for a sleek wooden ottoman with just about the same height as your bed. Opt for a piece that's made from solid wood to withstand the test of time.
