Living in a shared space can be a fun and exciting experience

Set ground rules
Before officially moving in, it’s good to lay your cards on the table. You and your roommate should create house rules that may include details on: bills, schedules, and spare keys, to name a few. Before the big move, it's also best to discuss the quirks and habits of each to avoid misunderstandings. Keep an open mind and be ready to compromise.
Who wants to come home to a messy space? Divide the household chores equally! You can even do a weekly rotation on who does what! Prioritize the kitchen, bathroom, and other shared areas.
You might think that you own tons of things but you might be surprised to see the things of your roommate, too! Assign sthe storage areas and don't hesitate to add shelves when needed. Be ready with bins and caddies that you can place in the living area and bathroom.
Build a strong friendship
If you're moving in with a friend or a member of your barkada, take this opportunity to get to know each other more and deepen the relationship. Keep the communication lines open and be honest.
