Do you love collecting makeup but have a little storage space at home? If not organized well, these essentials can easily turn into clutter. Fortunately, you can display them as decor pieces! Since most products come in pretty and charming packaging, it would be easier for you to experiment and have fun! Place them on shelves and on your dresser—there's a lot that you can do!

We recently visited the Happy Skin HQ and we fell in love with the space! Aside from the overall design and layout, the way they displayed their products is also noteworthy. Here are a few ideas that you can try at home:

Make use of glass cabinets

Keep your essentials neatly organized inside a glass cabinet. Aside from making sure that everything's in place, this helps you find the things you need easily instead of rummaging through drawers and boxes.

RL Tip:  "I’m partial to clear containers! They not only make it easy to spot the beauty products you need, but also instantly show you when your beauty tools need cleaning, " says Happy Skin co-founder Rissa Mananquil-Trillo.

Use dinnerware for storage

Got an old cake stand at home? You can turn it into a bedroom accent while organizing your makeup. Depending on the number of tiers, you can group items according to use or shade.

RL Tip: You can make your own cake stand! Craft your piece using old teacups, bowls, and plates. Click here for the complete guide.

Segregate according to color

Grouping them according to shade or color of packaging can help make your shelf look neater. It would be fun if the colors work well with your interiors, too!

RL Tip: Have fun and consider grouping your items from the lightest shades to the darker ones.

Use colorful boxes

Aside from using plastic containers to organize your things, you may also utilize colorful boxes to store your items. These boxes can serve two purposes: keep your things in place and add pops of color to your room. When choosing colors, make sure you consider the palette of your space to create a cohesive look.
