A home office is an imporant part of every household—this humble corner can help anyone become more focused and productive when trying to finsh a task without disturbing areas that are meant for relaxing. To help you create a space where you can let your creative juices flow, we've rounded up some of our best tips for styling a functional workspace below: 

1. Keep it concealed in a spare closet.  

If you don't have an entire room to use as a workspace, you can carve out a study complete with wall-mounted shelves and desk by transforming a spare closet. Consider using sliding doors to hide your workspace from sight when you have guests over.

2. Maximize the odd nooks of your home. 

No extra closet to spare? An empty corner would do, too! Build a makeshift office with a few shelves, hanging bins, and a folding table in your bedroom or living area. You can also use an accent chair in a bright color to make the space come alive.

3. Spruce it up with things you already own.
