Be creative with your tree

Do you love looking at towering Christmas trees displayed at malls? Even if you can't have one in a small home, you can create a tree that stands out and showcases the things that you love. Consider having a quirky tree or a small tree adorned with handpicked decorations. Remember, height doesn't matter! You can achieve the tree that you would love to display with a few creative hacks and tricks.

Avoid bulky décor

Adding big pieces of decor in a small space won't work as it will only make your space look cramped and crowded. Opt for mini accessories that can create an impact. Choose scented candles placed in mason jars to decorate living area, a charming wreath to liven up a plain wall, and a vase filled with flowers to brighten up the dining area.

Pick pieces that you can still use even after the holidays

Go for neutral colored pillows that you can style with ribbons and colorful pillow cases. Once the holiday is over, you can do away with the ribbons and simply place it on the sofa.

Work with everyday items

Be practical, save on cash, and work with pieces that you already have at home. Look for extra and unused ribbons, quirky items that can be used for decor, or old bottles and jars that you can spruce up.
