No Christmas tree? No problem!

Aside from the well-loved parol, we would often see different kinds of Christmas trees in different homes. From the classic green trees adorned with red balls and ribbons to quirky colorful ones, each homeowner makes sure that his or her tree is a cut above the rest.

But what if your space cannot accommodate a tree? You don't have to feel pressured since you may opt to have a mini tree or even a creative one featuring the things you love. Keep in mind that you don't always have to buy new pieces to bring Christmas into your home. Here are four charming alternatives that you may want to consider:

Wall art

An easy way to bring in some Christmas cheer into the home would be to maximize the walls and available vertical space. Use photos, letter cutouts, and other prints depicting the holidays. If you're working with cardboard cutouts, you may paint them in red or green.

Cardboard Tree

Aside from Christmas cones, you can craft cardboard trees on your own! Make the most of the weekend by preparing cardboard or an illustration board, coloring materials, and scissors. Simply trace the pattern into the cardboard, cut it, and style it the way you like! You can even stick photos of friends and loved ones for a more personalized touch.

Christmas Light Art

A plain wall can be magical with a few extra Christmas lights. Fix the way you hang the lights so that it will resemble the tree. Use strings or a yarn to create an outline that you can follow.

Chalkboard Tree

If you have a chalkboard at home, you can draw different designs and practice your calligraphy too! Your finished project can be used as decor in the kitchen or living area.

Don't have a chalkboard wall? You can draw your designs on an illustration board! Once you're done, you can display it in the living area or foyer.
