Discover what works best with this wall finish

Concrete walls are all the rage recently because of the growing popularity of industrial design. This treatment is also a conscious attempt to veer away from last year’s red brick walls. If you’re planning to design your home with a touch of concrete, here are styling tips to help you get started:

Pair it with Scandinavian pieces

Concrete walls feature raw finishes that go well with clean lines seen in contemporary or Scandinavian pieces. Scandi design is known for its crisp aesthetic and organic modern forms, so when you use a sofa or chair with this style, it will definitely complement the look of your walls.

Use natural finishes

Create a relaxed atmosphere with a few natural touches. Light wood stains paired with simple white furniture and decor can make your home look more interesting and stylish.

Add a pop of color

With its gray hue and textured surface, bare concrete creates a rather moody atmosphere. To liven it up, you may want to add colorful decor and soft furnishings to brighten up the space.
