Build an additional plate rack

Glass cabinets are prone to smudges and fingerprints that can ruin the look of your kitchen. Keep it clean by wiping them using mild soapy water and a soft cloth—after every kitchen task or at least twice a week.

You can also try adding customized racks inside that may come in handy if you want to showcase printed dishes and valuable China. More often than not, these pieces have intricate designs that can add character and color to a space.

Experiment with dramatic lighting

Harsh fluorescent lighting can make your cabinets look worse than they actually are. Play with shadows and create drama by adding lights with a dimmer switch to temporarily disguise small stains.

RL Tip: For dicing veggies, set it to bright to help you work efficiently while you can turn it down to create a nice ambiance for Wine Night.
