3 Ways to Attract Buyers and Sell Your Property
First impressions truly last
Planning to sell your home? Before you put it on lease, you need to make sure that the space is ready to be lived in. Keeping it unique and appealing can attract more prospective buyers—making it easier for you to close a deal. Planning to sell your condo unit? Before you start putting it on lease, you must make sure that your space is ready to be lived in. You need to make your area look unique and appealing from others, in order to attract prospective buyers.
To help you get started, interior designer Rod Lascano and stylist Coni Tejada share the following tips:
Keep it presentable
“Keep in mind that you are here to sell a unit, so you have to make it look really presentable," says interior designer Rod Lascano. Do this by investing in accessories and items that differentiate your space from the rest. Having a well-accessorized space gives buyers an idea on what they can do once they move in.
Know your potential users
Stylist Coni Tejada suggests that you put more insight to designing the space. Have a client profile, their lifestyle, and their interests. "Create scenarios in the unit that will mimic what they want. In a way, you’re selling the idea of what they can achieve with the space.”
Engage the five senses
“A room is more memorable when you engage the five senses. There should be something to touch, feel, see and even smell,” says Coni. The tiniest details--say even the room scent you use—gives your prospective clients a better ocular experience.
Looking for just the right scent that you can use? Consider working with lavender, peppermint, and citrus scents.
