3 Things to Love in a Bohemian Style Condo Home

Be inspired to create your own chic and colorful space

The Bohemian style allows you to showcase your free spirit by using different patterns and textures to spruce up your space. If you're considering an eclectic look for your home, you may want to check out Nana Enerio's home.

Nana, who teaches German, credits her love of the bohemian style to her years spent in Germany, where their diplomat father was posted. “People might think that Germans are strict and linear. But the people I met, both here and in Germany, they’re free spirits…It’s all about comfort, it’s all about practicality.” This  sensibility easily influenced her choices in clothes and interiors.

Here are the three elements that we loved in her space:

Interesting lanterns

What do you do with a plain wall? Aside from hanging photos, you can use paper lanterns to spruce up your space. These cute lanterns add whimsy to Nana’s cozy simple sleeping area.

Pocket Garden

By the balcony door is Nana's favorite corner—her growing collection of succulents neatly arranged on a wooden shoe rack. "It's more Filipino," shares Nana.

Foyer

This eclectic tableau by the foyer clues you in on Nana’s style—carefree, laid-back, and multicultural, with Damian Domingo prints, a vintage toy car, and a Matryoshka doll.
