3 Solutions to Your Bathroom Problems
Dirty tile grout, funky smells, and color concerns—we've got just the right tips for you!
You use it every day and make it a point to clean it regularly. But how much do you love your bathroom? Yes, you update its look from time to time with new accessories—but have you ever checked the minor details? Does it smell clean and fresh all day? Is it free from mold? Dealing with problems like these can help you create a stylish loo that you would love to use!
Interior designer Hannah Acab-Faustino shares the following tips that may just help you:
Problem: The grout in the bathroom has become dark even if it's cleaned regularly. Is it ideal to re-grout?
Solution: Hannah suggests that tiles must be properly grouted and regularly disinfected.
Problem: The bathroom has started to smell funky. What's the best deodorizer?
Solution: “Use scents like perfumed soap, aroma scents, scented candles, and the like. When possible, put plants that can also act as natural filter,” shares Hannah.

Problem: Is it okay to have an all-black or gray bathroom? Do all bathrooms have to be white?
Solution: You may choose to use dark colors—especially in the flooring so that dirt won't be easily seen. To tone down the gloom, make sure that there are still bright areas. “Personally, I prefer neutral colors with various textures, and at most, mixed with accent colors. I try to relate the accent colors with some of the accessories placed in the same area for harmony,” suggests Hannah.
