3 Easy Tasks To Keep Your Kitchen Organized

Keep your space spotless with these tips and tricks

Every homeowner knows that the kitchen is one of the busiest parts of the home. It's where we cook meals, eat and bond with the family so it is not a surprise that things easily get very messy in this spot.

While we try our best to wipe down grease and sweep crumbs on a daily basis, our cooking corners still seem to end up looking unkempt. To keep the scullery crisp and pristine, we've listed down three simple tasks you can do to keep clutter at bay:

Rearrange your shelves

Utilize your built-in shelves above the counter and let it work for your convenience. Try placing your most used kitchen items on the lower levels for easy access while you can use the top shelves to display cookbooks, special occasion dinnerware, and even family heirlooms.

Update the essentials

Since most of us work hectic schedules, we're all guilty of forgetting to update cleaning accessories regularly. Sponges, kitchen towels, and tablecloths are breeding grounds for bacteria—make it a habit to replace them once every two weeks to keep the family safe from unwanted diseases.

Set up a coffee spot

For coffee lovers, having to gather everything you need each time you want to grab a hot cup of joe can be chore. Consider setting up a specific area for coffee and tea-making accessories to save some time and to avoid making a mess in different parts of the kitchen, too.
