3 Easy Steps to a Pretty and Functional Pantry
Make cooking stress-free with these tips
My favorite part of the house is our kitchen because I love to cook and eat. I've always enjoyed watching my mom and grandmother cook, and our pantry would always be a messy jungle of plastic containers, bottles, and different kinds of packaging after each cooking session. Since it's full of different items, utensils, and other must-haves, it can be very difficult to keep it organized all the time.
Keep in mind that this shouldn't be the case. Reducing clutter in the pantry can be quick and easy if you have the time and the right tools to organize. To help and inspire you to get started, here are three easy steps to keep in mind:
When storing powdered ingredients, nuts, and the like, consider using clear containers. Once you've transferred all of these, you'll see how these pieces fit in your pantry. Aside from helping preserve food, airtight containers will also prevent rodents and insects from spoiling your food. Don't forget to label them properly for easier reference.

Store oils and liquid condiments you regularly use in reusable bottles with screw-on lids. Arrange them properly on a shelf to give your space a streamlined appeal. These bottles would look better and more coordinated than the usual packaging.

Your spices will look better in matching jars. Line them up on your spice rack and label them to avoid confusion. When labeling, always remember to put the expiration dates, so you'll know when it's time to throw stuff away. Containers and jars can easily be bought from any department store at really reasonable prices. If you have time, drop by Dapitan Arcade or Japan Surplus shops for cheaper and unique alternatives.
