3 Design Ideas For A Beach-Inspired Bath
Bring the sun and sand indoors!
Some people find solace and relaxation in a hot bath after a tiring day as the right mix of scented candles, bath salts, and mellow music is a well-deserved escape from stress. There are also a few who have mastered their schedules and are able to squeeze in a quick trip to the beach to enjoy some serene time on weekends.
We have to admit, there are days when we simply wish we could combine these two. After all, nothing beats being able to relax and recharge in the comfort of your own home, without spending much. If you are planning to give your T&B an upgrade, here are tips and ideas to consider:

Build a color palette
Be specific about which colors you would like to incorporate in your bathroom. You can decide to go for different shades of blue reminiscent of the sea, neutrals for the shore, and green for the plants.

Decide on the treatment
You may want to change a few things in your bath such as the tiling or the walls. For tiles, you can go for plain patterns or mosaic pieces featuring colors that match your walls and accessories. The same rule applies if you want to repaint the space. Consider choosing a mural or painting it in neutral shades.
RL Tip: Go the extra mile and switch up the flooring, too! You can experiment with pebbles, stones or driftwood.

Add unexpected details
For fixtures, choose pieces that have a touch of things you can find by the beach. You can get a shell-framed mirror or use stainless steel. When it comes to the fixtures, you can choose durable brass for the showerhead and handles. You can also consider using wicker baskets or wooden crates for storage.
RL Tip: If you really want to commit to the theme, consider painting the ceiling with clouds or a flock of birds flying over the sea.
