As much as possible, we want our home to showcase our personality. From the furniture to the accessories, we are very particular with the details. If you are giving your bathroom a mini makeover, you may also showcase your passions in this small space.

To help you get started, here are three styles that you may want to consider so you can enjoy a stylish and functional T&B at home.

Modern

Have you always loved the minimalist style? Showcase a clean and streamlined look in your bathroom by using muted blues or greens as part of your color scheme. These hues help create a simple yet relaxing vibe. Consider adding wind chimes by the window or add aromatherapy oils on the counter to help set the mood.

RL Tip: Don't forget to add lighting fixtures that work well with your paint and accessories. Add enough storage for your toiletries, too!

Eclectic

If you can't stick to one style and if you love mixing things up, you may want to consider having an eclectic bathroom. What makes this style different from the rest is that it allows you to mix and match your old and new furniture as well as add a couple of pieces that you love. Hang artworks or a sculpture above the water closet and opt for bold colors such as deep red and gold.

Nature-inspired

Aside from adding more plants in the balcony or lanai, you may also add a couple of potted plants in the bathroom. Create a pocket garden complete with pebbles, a mini fountain, and wooden elements.

RL Tip: Consider adding elements like bamboo trays and stones to complete the look.
