Keep your things organized with these everyday items

From tangled wires to pens and other accessories – you can organize all of your stuff by using items found in the home. To make it more convenient, you may place these organizers in the different rooms of the house to avoid clutter and misplaced essentials.

Tray with Partitions

Power cords, cellphone chargers, and other gadget accessories can be stored in a tray with partitions. You may designate a space for each item—since it’s out in the open, identification should be a breeze. Place it near a power supply to make charging convenient.

Cutlery Tray

If you’ve lost the original case of your spare spectacles or sunglasses, protect them from scratches by storing them in a cutlery tray, which is the perfect size for your specs.

Disposable Plastic Containers

If reused often, these containers may leak harmful chemicals into your food. Give them a second chance by using them to organize your craft materials. The container itself is translucent, which makes it easy to see what’s inside—and it’s stackable, too.

Old Aluminum Baking Pans

You may use them as neat kitchen drawer organizers for your table napkins, runners, and coasters.

Celadon or Chinese Porcelain Collection

Don’t let your celadon or Chinese porcelain collection just sit behind glass doors. Turn them into pretty and functional depositories for small items like house keys, paperclips, or coins.

Pretty Chocolate Boxes

You may use these in your home office as a pen, paper, or letter holder.

A Small Baul or Jewelry Box

Turn a small baul or jewelry box into a medicine kit for your bedside table just in case you get a headache or stuffy nose in the middle of the night.

Small Trays

Arrange a message central by your telephone on a small tray; this will keep everything in place. Have a few pencils, Post-its, paper, and a phone book handy.

Old Shoeboxes

Make your own mail sorting system by using old shoeboxes. Assign an inbox and an outbox, and if you’re feeling crafty, cover the boxes in cute wrapping paper to match the color of your room.

Old Grocery Baskets

Have a couple of old grocery baskets near your front entrance or in every area in your home and you’ll hardly have a misplaced item again. Teach each member of your family to dump every item they see lying around the house. Take turns returning the items to their proper storage.
