Reader Question: Where Can I Buy Scrapbook Kits in Manila?

Consulting style editor Issa Villar shares where readers can purchase arts and crafts materials

Q: Aside from National Bookstore, where can I buy a scrapbook kit in Manila, particularly in the Binondo area? I’ve searched the Internet, but all I found were scrapbook kits from abroad or from online shops. —Rocelyn Pablo via Facebook

A: Most scrapbooking materials can be found online, but there are mainstream stores like Fully Booked and Simple Joys that carry them, too. Binondo has several shops that carry paper products, but since most of them do not advertise, it would be best to give yourself a tour of Binondo to find exactly what you’re looking for.

You may also want to check out Divisoria for other materials like buttons, trimmings, sinamay, and others. After all, scrapbooking is all about being creative—no one says you have to stick to only items labeled as “scrapbook material.”
