Get unique local finds, from pillowcases and home scents to pottery and gin-and-tonic kits at Frankie and Friends General Store
When you say “general store,” you’d imagine a quaint little store in a small town that sells a wide variety of goods, from household products like soap and brooms, to clothes and a bit of furniture.
Well, there’s a new type of general store that we stumbled upon, and it’s like a general store reinterpreted for Gen Y. Frankie & Friends General Store at SM Aura is much like that type of shop, but done in a more stylish way. The store is a brick-and-mortar venue for small, local brands to sell in, and to help expose them to the bigger, mall-going market, aside from having an online presence. The items run the gamut from dinnerware and linen to snacks, small beauty products, and beautiful wicker chairs.
It’s a delightfully designed, Instagram-worthy shop, with a clean aesthetic of all-white walls, Scandinavian-pale wood shelves and pegboards, blush pink cushions, and a spot at the back where you can sit down and have a cup of coffee (or post your photos). Here are some of our favorite finds:
