I’ve always been impressed with how Dyson continuously comes up with innovations to keep its customer-base engaged and enthusiastic about something as traditionally unsexy as a vacuum cleaner.
After allowing myself to be convinced to get the light-saber like slim Dyson V8 fluffy that is 40 percent smaller and lighter than my V11 absolute, I figured I wouldn’t need another vacuum cleaner till years down the line.
And now comes the slim, sleek Dyson Omni-glide, which is available for P19,530 (from P27,900) on Lazada.

The cord-free vacuum has the Fluffy cleaner head that glides across hardwood floors in all directions – forward, back, and sideways, easily maneuvering into tight corners and small spaces such as under a sofa or bed.
It comes with three tools, including a mini-motorized tool that sucks in hair (my perennial problem) and dirt from mattresses and upholstered furniture.
To remove dust build-up, I can wash the bin, filter, brush bar, and any of the tools without electronic components.
The Dyson engineers have also used the brand’s proprietary five-stage filtration technology so the machine can efficiently suck up fine dust hidden in those hard to reach places, capturing 99.99% of those teeny tiny particles as small as 0.3 microns.
