Homeowners Teri and Lawrence share their 60sqm apartment with two-year-old daughter Lexi. While their home had a lot of potential, the couple’s bedroom and the nursery need some improvement. Like many couples, Teri and Lawrence had too many things and not enough time and storage options to organize everything properly.

Interior designer Hannah Acab-Faustino worked on the apartment to create a clean, chic, and cozy space. She also chose different patterns in various shades to add charm and character to the home.

Since the existing headboard seemed too big in the master bedroom, Hannah and her team cut the piece. They decorated it with burgundy fabric strips and added cove lights from Firefly Electric for a hotel-like vibe.
Because both bedrooms have limited floor space, Hannah added shelves and ledges from Shack Furniture. In the parents’ room, she chose a wall-mounted accessories shelf with a glass door. She also made the walls interesting with patterned wallpaper courtesy of Design Gold.
In Lexi’s bedroom, Hannah replaced the puzzle floor mats with a woven area rug from Triple-A Multiline Merchandising. She furnished the space with the ottoman and a lime green sofa bed. For the window treatment, Hannah preferred simple Roman shades and sheer striped curtains from Shell Canvas.
Since Lexi’s bedroom has limited space, Hannah chose a sofa bed from Crossings Department Store instead of a regular bed.
