5 Simple Home Makeovers that You Can Do

Transform a bare condo or urban abode into home sweet home with these picks and tips

If you've recently moved into a new home, we're sure that you only have basic pieces to work with. These pieces make up your house. However, we all want to come home to "home sweet home."

Keep in mind that neither size nor price of decor could guarantee a cozy and inviting space. Here are pieces and handy hints that may just help you transform your home.

Most living areas—especially in semi-furnished condos—are made up of just the basics: couch, coffee table, lamp, and side table. 

What you'll need:

  1. Dress up a ho-hum sofa with a bevy of pillows in colors that pop out.
