Looking For a Property Outside of Metro Manila? Here's an Option
Townships seem to be an ongoing trend.
If you live in Metro Manila and you’re thinking of moving elsewhere, you’re not alone. Many are heading out to provinces near the metropolis for quieter environs while still having access to business districts for work. Despite the pandemic, the residential real estate industry continues to grow. In fact, a recent Colliers Philippine Property Market Report notes that new developments are actually helping pull up the economy—so if you’re thinking of investing in property, now is a good time as any.
A good option is to move into a township: a self-sustaining commercial and residential bubble that has everything within easy reach. Greenfield City, an ongoing project by Greenfield Development Corporation in Sta. Rosa Laguna, is a 400-hectare community that has a park-living concept, which doesn’t only mean open spaces, but also convenient access, all in a hub for work, rest, and play.
Within the township are two residential areas: Zadia and Trava. Zadia has 80 percent of the property devoted to parks and outdoor amenities.
Trava, a sprawling 33-hectare property, has 45 percent of it dedicated to “expansive meadows, playgrounds, and wide, tree-lined roads,” according to a release. Trava has other perks too, such as solar-powered green roofs, which offer sustainability.
