It’s true when they say that having a baby changes everything, and this welcome change is what encouraged Beverly Batan to write to Real Living for a makeover. Before baby Bridget entered their lives, Beverly and her husband Ben were perfectly content with the limited space in their living and dining areas, which was attributed to the bar counter in the kitchen. Taking into consideration their growing toddler’s needs, Beverly wanted a space where the entire family can comfortably dine and make wonderful memories together.

Interior designer John Vigilia, together with his design assistant Faith Peñaflor, came into the picture to make Beverly’s vision a reality. With their help, the dining and kitchen areas of the Batans now seem bigger and more child-friendly. It’s no wonder then that baby Bridget couldn’t contain her excitement the first time the family shared a meal in their newly transformed dining area!
