A Sweet Bedroom Makeover for Two Girls

Contractor woes led homeowner Rona Baello to write to Real Living for a makeover. This mom of three relates that her two girls, Jana and Jayna, prefer to sleep in their parents’ bedroom instead of their own. The girls’ bedroom has a small bed and a plain closet surrounded by bare walls—the uninviting vibe of the space can be instantly felt at first glance.
Interior designer Van Acuña Solaña was tasked to transform the plain room in just a week’s time. She recommended adding a bed and a study desk, as well as a bit of accessorizing to make the room pleasant to the eyes of its intended owners. The result is a charming space for two young girls to rest and relax in. Everyone in the family ended up liking the makeover, to the point that even Rona wants to sleep in the room, too!
