An RL Makeover Winner Revamped this One-Bedroom Condo

What made this condo unit in Mandaluyong interesting is the fact that it took the owner 10 years before finally deciding to give it a makeover. Tired with the gloomy and cramped look of her space, she turned to her friend, interior designer Liel Gardon for help. Liel, who is part of the Espasyo Manila team, worked within a tight budget and successfully transformed the lackluster unit into a bright and welcoming home.

While we’re doing the interview for the home tour, Liel mentioned that she was a recipient of a Real Living makeover in 2007. We immediately logged on to realliving.com.ph to check the article she’s referring to. After seeing how interior designer Vivian Gacad worked on her space, Liel got inspired to study interior design and fast forward to today—the former account executive is now a successful interior designer, juggling multiple projects at the same time. “Ganyan pa din itsura ng room ko, na-preserve ko naman,” she happily shares. Just like Liel, whose Real Living story has come full circle, the owner has turned the page to the next chapter—ready to make the most of her renovated space.
