We Finally Know the Style of Team Kramer’s New House
It will highlight open spaces, wood, stone, and industrial touches

A few months ago, we published a feature on Team Kramer’s future home—as Doug and Chesca gave their followers a tour of the property under construction. Aside from having a grand entrance, spacious living and dining areas, and an elevator—the multi-storey family home will also have an infinity pool, a breathtaking view of the outdoors, and roomy sleeping spaces as well.
Doug shares that Chesca will also have a huge walk-in closet that’s bigger than the master bedroom and another room dedicated just for shoes.
Since he mentioned that the house will have tall glass windows and sliding doors, we can’t help but wonder what interior style the family is going for. Their current house has a modern contemporary appeal and we won’t be surprised if the new house will have a similar feel. In an Instagram post he shared a few weeks ago, the proud dad of three revealed their chosen look and that they will not hire an interior designer to complete the project.
“My contract with my engineer is just a structural one, so this gives me the freedom to choose my desired finishes from tiles, ceiling, all the way to the roofing, instead of just giving a full amount to a contractor. And yes, no interior designer for us. Just Chesca and I. But she leaves it most to me since she trusts my taste. Our house will be something different. A modern rustic feel,” Doug shares.
A multi-storey modern rustic property? We can’t wait to see the finished house! Aside from highlighting the beauty of wood, stone, and industrial touches, the house’s infinity pool will also face multiple cities—talk about having a treat after a long day!
The modern rustic style has been a go-to choice by many homeowners because it highlights a streamlined aesthetic that’s homey and inviting. To give you an idea of how pretty and comfy this style can be, here are some of our favorite modern rustic homes:
In designing this four-storey townhouse, interior designer Jean Suzanne Sy had to make sure that it features the best of city living and the comfort of a rest house. To accomplish this, she worked with earth colors and modern pieces with rustic touches.
The living area on the second floor is inviting and relaxing, with plush seating pieces showcasing a nailhead trim. The play of neutrals and charming accessories can instantly transport the owners and their guests to the province.
A rustic-contemporary townhouse
Bricks, subway tiles, and industrial-inspired shelves complete the rustic appeal of this townhouse. Designed by interior designer Jen Sohu, the house has lovely kitchen and dining areas, with charming bedrooms, to boot. The kitchen features sleek and white cabinets paired with black subway tiles. Meanwhile, the dining area highlights a wooden table with mismatched dining chairs that add quirky touches to the space.
A bright and airy Antipolo home
This property has generous windows that let in plenty of natural light, a calming view of the outdoors, and open spaces. We can’t help but remember how Doug described their future living area that will also have huge glass windows and a view of the outdoors.
