When Girlie Villegas and her husband Ariel purchased a 3,333 square-meter property in 2015, they initially planned on using it to build their retirement home.

"Kasi pareho kaming mahilig sa provincial life," Girlie tells the OG team. "What we want is when we wake up in the morning, magpapatuka kami ng mga manok, na meron kaming mga kambing, and lahat ng kakainin namin is fresh, organic."
A Tiny Homes Enclave
Seeing the potential of their Alfonso, Cavite lot as a relaxing respite for travelers, they decided to turn it into a bed and breakfast, but one with a unique twist. The Villegas family built three tiny houses on the enclave, which they christened Madeline's Ville. Taking inspiration from nature, they named these units Sunshine, Blue Sky, and Earth.
Each tiny house measures 15 square meters, is air-conditioned, and fits four people. It comes with a sofa bed, a fully-functioning kitchen, a bathroom, and a double-sized bed in the loft area. There's also Wi-Fi and a smart TV for connectivity and entertainment.
Originally, Girlie and her husband only wanted to have three tiny houses. But as their guests asked for more accommodations, they decided to add something different. That's when they acquired an old passenger bus serving the Naic route and converted it into a camper van. There's a second bus that will be ready for guests soon. Just like the tiny houses, it has all the same comforts and can fit up to four people.
Madeline's Ville also comes with a kiddie pool and an adult pool, a bonfire area, and garden.

"Ang favorite part ko dito is yung garden kasi talagang mare-relax ka," Girlie notes. "Yung fresh air na you cannot buy. Kaya gusto din namin ito yung hina-highlight talaga namin sa mga tao, especially yung mga taga-Manila na walang ganito."

With the help of an architect, they spent P300,000 for each tiny house's structure. The interiors, they did on their own for roughly P150,000. The buses, on the other hand, they got for P70,000 each, without the engine. Currently, the Villegas family is developing a prayer garden. There are plans as well of building a chapel on the property.

"We want to offer this to our guests who want to have their quiet moment or me time or want to commune with God and with nature," Girlie says.

"We are very proud to say na yung mga tiny house is filled with love kasi it's a family effort. Lahat kami rito is may contribution sa paggawa ng interior."
