Actress Glaiza de Castro and her husband David Rainey have launched a brand new business: a cozy, hip cafe named Brewbox Baler!

Glaiza shared the exciting news on Instagram, along with photos of her new business venture. She reflected, “We were just imagining this during the start of the pandemic and now it’s all coming together. It was a long and challenging process but equally exciting and satisfying.”

She also made sure to recognize her husband’s efforts, writing, “Your hard work, determination, passion and creativity [inspire] me even more.”

Brewbox Baler, which opened on February 17, features modern and tropical-inspired design elements, such as trendy pendant lights, woven textures, and, of course, high-end kitchen equipment. It also features a swimming pool!

It’s not just the stunning interiors that you will enjoy here–aside from yummy beverages and delectable treats, Brewbox Baler also offers a place to appreciate music and simply hang out with your loved ones.

Aside from Brewbox Baler, Glaiza and David also run a bed and breakfast called Casa Galura, which is similarly located in Baler. Casa Galura began operations in March 2023.

Casa Galura is the perfect location for getaways with family and friends. It can accommodate between eight and 10 people and has two available rooms: Grazilda, which has eight bunk beds and two pull-out beds, and Contessa, which has six bunk beds and two pull-out beds. Guests will also be able to access the pool, workout area, and rooftop.

On her Instagram, Glaiza revealed that Casa Galura is inspired by fond memories of her childhood.

At masaya kaming maging parte nun.”
