After living in a condo unit for a couple of years, celeb couple Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico recently moved into a four-year-old multi-storey house. In a house tour she posted on her website and Youtube channel recently, Solenn shared that she decided to renovate and decorate the house on her own (their former condo was designed by Heim Interiors) to save on costs.

Based on the tips and extra clips she shared, it seems that the actress/artist enjoyed shopping and visiting different home stores (she loved dropping by AllHome!) as well. Aside from hiring movers to transport items from their old space, a few friends also helped in moving furniture around the house. Solenn happily shared that she unboxed most of essentials found in Casa #SosBolz, giving it a unique personal touch. While giving her followers a tour, she also dished out a few tips that may come in handy whether you’re building or renovating your home.

Check out some of our favorite snapshots below and how Solenn transformed the space:

The dining area is compact yet inviting. We're guessing the lighting pieces are old ones from their old condo unit.

The dominant colors in the space are beiges, blacks, and pops of blue and orange. It also has a high ceiling, prompting Solenn to create a statement using captivating lighting pieces from stores like Home Cartel. Some of her paintings also take center stage on the walls near the staircase.

She describes her style as “homey, jungley, Havana, Moroccon chic.” All throughout the house, there are well-thought-out wallpapers that liven up walls. Each wallpaper boasts of striking colors and patterns to match the style she described.

The TV area can be accessed from the dining area. It has a comfy couch, a pretty wallpaper, and an overall homey vibe.

“A house becomes a home when you put actual life into it. And for me, life is plants. It brings everything together,” she mentions as a tip. Nest Plant Studio came to the rescue to identify which plants suit the different areas—from the living and dining areas down to the bathrooms.

Solenn shared that it’s important to invest in a good night’s sleep. They have a Magniflex mattress in their room which she considers as one of the most important pieces in the home. Magniflex is a premium Italian mattress that's exclusively distributed by Homestudio, Inc.

Does the area shown above look familiar? It looks a lot like Nico's man cave in the old condo! Most of the pieces in the guest area showcase some of his hobbies. We also can't miss the captivating area rug that used to anchor their living area.

Aside from giving decorating advice, she also gave tips on what to check upon moving into a new house like electrical and water connections.
