LOOK: Jewel Mische Lives In A Fairy Tale Castle
Take a peek at the actress's fantasy-like castle situated in the middle of a dreamy forest in Michigan
Jewel Mische is apparently living in the house of her dreams, and that house is a stone “castle” in the middle of a misty forest—and the whole place looks like it popped straight out of a fairytale book.
It’s been three years since the former Kapuso actress left showbiz to marry Alister Kurzer in Michigan, US, and the couple had a baby girl named Aislah Rose born last July 12, 2018. The new family lives in a charming stone house called “Rosewood Cottage.”
In one of her Instagram posts dated June 27, 2018, Jewel wrote: “It was Spring of last year when I first laid my eyes on this little ‘fairytale castle’ up for sale…The house and its location not only appealed deeply to me, it is a childhood vision that came to life!! [emojis]” The couple had no plans of buying a new house, and they admitted they couldn’t afford the asking price, and were turned down several times. But after four months, they were able to purchase the property.
Another Instagram photo of the actress shows an empty street lined on both sides by a lush forest in beautiful autumn colors of red, orange, and yellow. “I cry. What used to look like my old desktop wallpaper…now the roads I drive by,” reads the caption.
The house is described as a “cozy English/Tuscan cottage,” but Rosewood Cottage resembles a contemporary version of a classic European Medieval country house that is made out of stone and partially of timber, and is modified for modern-day living.
In an earlier post, the actress is photographed cooking in the kitchen, and we could get a glimpse of how delightfully fairytale-like the interiors are. In the photo, a stone arch surrounded by vines and wooden beams frames the stone kitchen, which resembles a scene from a Disney animated movie.
From her recent Instagram photos, Jewel and husband Alister seem to be relishing parenthood, cradling Aislah Rose in front of their fairytale castle. She writes: “…Praise the Lord, we were finally able to take little miss Princess Aislah to her castle!”
