The National Museum of the Philippines is a trifecta of repositories that celebrate Philippine history and culture. You can find the National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History within the Rizal Park area in Manila; all of which have free entrance. On October 19, Tuesday, the three museums opened their doors following Metro Manila's shift to Alert Level 3. Only persons who are fully vaccinated, with proof of vaccination, will be admitted. Visitors shall be limited to 100 per museum per session. Health and safety protocols will also be strictly followed.

Here are the guidelines when visiting the National Museum of the Philippines:

  • Visitors are required to book a slot online at least a day before visit. Log on to, click "Book a tour," and wait for confirmation through e-mail. Walk-ins are not allowed.
  • Persons with temperature of 37.5 and above or other COVID-19 symptoms will not be admitted.
  • StaySafe registration and health declaration are also required.
  • Face masks and face shields must be worn at all times.
  • Social distancing of at least two meters between persons not belonging to the same household must also be observed.

The National Museum of the Philippines is open from Tuesday to Sunday; from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (with a cut-off time at 11 a.m.) for morning bookings and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (with cut-off at 3 p.m.) for afternoon sessions.
