When Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach passed the crown to the new Miss Universe Philippines last night, we thought Candidate 29 looked familiar. After learning that Maxine Medina is a graduate of the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID), we immediately reviewed our archives and saw a photo from two years ago—in a special feature on the 2014 PSID Graduation Exhibit entitled “Globalscapes.”

Since we’re also excited about her preparation for the next Miss Universe pageant and we’d love to know more about her, we checked her Instagram account for tidbits.
