Type of Home: 60sqm Loft-type Condo Unit

Location: Quezon City

Style of Home: American Country

After many years of living in California, the homeowners decided to move back to the Philippines. The couple now owns two condo units in the country— one in the heart of Ortigas and another in Quezon City. Their Quezon City home is a 60sqm loft-type space that they have filled with classic furniture and accessories.

The owners' traditional possessions serve as sweet reminders of their life in the United States. The charming pieces also make the small space feel warm, cozy, and welcoming.

Living Area

The living area is furnished with a unique yellow-and-white sofa made by MMO Furniture. The fully upholstered seat is paired with a wooden coffee table and a light-colored area rug.

Throw Pillows

How can you make a small space feel more comfortable? You can consider adding in throw pillows and soft furnishings!

For this striped sofa, the couple chose customized throw pillows made from the same fabric as the two accent chairs in the living area.

Armchair

On one corner of the living area is a customized armchair upholstered with blue-and-white fabric from Larry's at SM Megamall.

Side Table

Beside the armchair is a side table from Urban Abode. The slim piece is the perfect final touch for this particular area.

White Chandelier

The high ceiling is complemented with a modern-meets-classic white chandelier. You can find a similar lighting fixture at A & S Lamps along EDSA-Balintawak in Quezon City.

Reading Nook

What can you do with an unused space under your staircase? You can think about turning it into a reading nook for you and your family!

The lady of the house furnished this corner with an armchair purchased at a flea market in Pasay City for only P500. The plush seat has been reupholstered with blue-and-white fabric from Larry's.

Side Table

No reading nook would be complete without a side table to hold a lamp, a cup of tea, and your favorite books!

Kitchen and Dining Area

If you do not have enough room in a small home, you can consider using your kitchen as your dining area! The kitchen island could serve as an ideal dining table for you and your loved ones.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a fully upholstered headboard with nailhead trim.

Master Bedroom

Facing the bed is a framed botanical print hanging over a wooden console table. The table is adorned with a table lamp, a religious icon, and a family picture.
