A Flight Attendant's Two-Storey Townhouse in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
Homeowner Jennifer Alvero welcomes us into her two-bedroom home in the province
Many people only see the bright side of working as a flight attendant! After all, most of us would love to travel the world and to get paid for doing so. However, we often don't see that being a flight attendant can mean taking on a lonely, tiring, and thankless job.
Homeowner Jennifer Alvero is no stranger to the less-than-glamorous aspects of her profession. Thankfully, her sacrifice paid off when she was able to buy this two-storey townhouse for her family in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
To make the 100sqm rest house more interesting, interior designer Jean Suzanne Sy chose bright colors, bold patterns, and modern furniture and accessories.

The first thing that we noticed in this two-storey townhouse is the light blue front door! Painting your front door is an easy, affordable, and unexpected way to add a touch of color in your home.
The living area is furnished with an L-shaped sectional sofa topped with different throw pillows, a pair of Eames-inspired chairs, and a quirky black-and-white area rug.
While many homeowners now opt for a rectangular dining table, the interior designer chose a round dining table that would help her save on space and create a more intimate dining set-up.
The interior designer also made the most of this bare and empty corner by bringing in a comfortable sofa. This inviting seat serves as the perfect spot for chatting with loved ones or even enjoying an afternoon nap.
Are you dreaming of a kitchen makeover? Maybe you can start by bringing in a few decorative touches! In this particular space, the interior designer used a vintage wall clock, a framed print, a few faux plants, and a gray-and-white area rug.
The interior designer decorated this hallway with wall art, a statement chair, a geometric side table, and throw pillows in playful blue and pink shades.
The master bedroom is just as bright, vibrant, and colorful as the rest of the family home! We like how the interior designer mixed and matched different patterns in varying shades of blue.
In the guest bedroom, the striped wall serves as the perfect backdrop for the matching beds with tufted headboards. These beds are made more inviting with colorful pillows.
