A Clutter-Free Condo for a Bachelor Athlete
Major plumbing and electrical repairs, excellent carpentry, and ample storage solutions form the perfect pad for a champion bowler
Champion bowler Biboy Rivera lived in an old, cluttered condo unit within his family’s property. After living there for over a decade, the athlete, travel consultant, and entrepreneur decided to renovate his condo. The original layout was kept, but the dated unit was plagued with many structural issues – uneven walls, leaky pipes, and poor carpentry. And so he sought the help of IDO Contracts who provided topnotch carpentry, plumbing and electrical work, as well as customization of some pieces of furniture.
After all the repairs were made, Biboy’s next major concern was building enough storage solutions for his place, without sacrificing design and aesthetics. With the help of his contractors, his unit was fitted with ample storage solutions using woode laminates that was streamlined and blended in with the modern, updated look he wanted for his condo. The new cabinets and shelves provided Biboy enough room to store his essentials, and at the same time, prompted him to downsize his belongings.
Biboy’s updated condo unit is befitting of his personality as an athlete and coach who is organized and forward-thinking.

The overall look Biboy was after was modern, clean lines with enough storage areas. The foyer has a sectional charcoal black sofa, black-and-white sofa, and a beige area rug. The neutral colors are easy on the eye and highlight the room’s improved layout.
Entertainment system was created to fit a flatscreen TV and other entertainment equipment. Some décor are placed on the shelves to add a personal touch.
Framed newspaper and magazines clippings are randomly hung on the wall to add a personal touch to the room’s clutter-free and clean lines.
Aside from being a champion bowler, Biboy is also an avid biker. One of his bikes is used as the centerpiece in this room.
To go with the clean look, the dining area was kept simple. A small round table is paired with ghost chairs and to provide lighting, a hanging fixture was added to the space.
A glass partition provides privacy from the study area and the bedroom, without sacrificing space.
The room has a warm lighting while the bed has a patterned comforter. Details are provided by the accent clock and other knick-knacks reflecting the owner's personality.
Extra care was taken in the building of the built-in cabinets and storage spaces since Biboy was particular about good quality carpentry, a problem he didn’t have with IDO Contracts. Cove lighting was also built into each cabinet and shelf which accentuated the room’s overall look.
After the plumbing had been fixed, Biboy’s new bathroom has built-in cabinets and shelving which used wood laminates that keep the look clean and updated.
